From February 22 to 24, winegrowers, winemakers, enthusiasts, and industry professionals—including buyers, restaurateurs, distributors, and sommeliers—will gather in Bologna for the Slow Wine Fair. The event, organized by BolognaFiere and conceived by Slow Food, is dedicated to wines produced through sustainable viticulture, supporting biodiversity, rural communities, and raising awareness of wine’s cultural value.

The fair hosts the international Slow Wine Coalition, a collaborative network of key figures in the wine world. Over three days, hundreds of producers from Italy and abroad will present their wines and discuss the future of viticulture. Visitors can explore thousands of wine labels selected by experts, attend tastings, and participate in talks and masterclasses.

The 2026 edition highlights wine as a driver of inclusion and social development, complementing previous themes on climate, soil, and supply chain sustainability. Alongside traditional wine offerings, the fair features spirits, amaro, cider, and coffee, with dedicated exhibition areas showcasing producers and supply chain partners promoting sustainable practices.

Additional features include the “Terroir and Spirito Slow” Wine List Award, educational programs, and Off events. The fair runs concurrently with SANA Food, a healthy-eating exhibition, allowing attendees to access both events with a single ticket and enhancing the overall experience for visitors and professionals alike.
