Raw Wine Montréal 2025 pops its cork on November 15–16, 2025, landing at the stunning Grand Quay of the Port of Montréal, a glass-wrapped venue right on the Saint Lawrence River. This architectural gem blends modern elegance with a maritime edge—perfect for swirling wild ferments while watching cargo ships float by. Raw Wine’s fearless leader, Isabelle Legeron MW, returns with a globe-spanning roster of organic, biodynamic, and natural winemakers. Just outside, Montréal’s Old Port buzzes with cozy cafés, cobblestone charm, and world-class poutine. And with mid-November’s brisk air swirling through the city, bold reds and zippy pét-nats feel just right for warming up between tastings.
The Raw Wine story began in London in 2012 as a small but mighty tasting of natural wines. Since then, Legeron turned it into a global movement with fairs in Berlin, Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York. Montréal debuted in 2023 and returns in 2025 as a must-visit event on the city’s fall wine calendar. The fair highlights small growers who farm organically, ferment with native yeasts, and bottle wines with minimal intervention. Expect over 100 producers from Europe, Canada, and beyond—each one listing their ingredients and farming practices for full transparency. This year’s tasting tables feature exciting bottles from Jura, Chile, Austria, and Québec’s own emerging terroirs.
Raw Wine Montréal welcomes a diverse crowd—from trade professionals to curious drinkers bundled in scarves and sipping with purpose. You’ll rub shoulders with importers, sommeliers, wine shop buyers, journalists, and fans of funky ferments. The energy is both casual and business-savvy, as industry folks hunt for new portfolio gems and producers pitch their passion across the table. For importers and distributors, the fair offers direct access to low-intervention winemakers, early-release tasting opportunities, and the kind of authentic storytelling today’s wine market craves. It’s not just another tasting—it’s where the future of wine pours freely.
Raw Wine is a celebration of some of the best wine talent in the world. They produce natural, or low-intervention organic and biodynamic wines, all with few additives in the cellar. They are pure, kind to the planet, and probably better for your health. Raw Wine fairs are open to the wine and food trade, the press and the general public.
