Alma do Vinho returns to Parque Urbano da Romeira in Alenquer, just 45 minutes from central Lisbon, from September 11 to 14, 2025. Surrounded by the breathtaking wine hills of the Lisbon Wine Region, this four-day celebration is organized by the Municipality of Alenquer, a territory known as the “Wine Capital of the Lisbon Region.” Nearby, visitors can explore Alenquer’s historic monastery, charming medieval streets, and the scenic Castelo de Alenquer, perched above the town. With easy access from Lisbon and a setting rich in heritage, the event offers a perfect blend of wine, culture, and atmosphere.
Since its first edition in 2018, Alma do Vinho has grown into the largest wine festival in the Lisbon region. The event gathers over four hundred wines from the region for guests to sample under the late-summer sun. Producers showcase their finest expressions, while chefs lead interactive showcookings and experts host themed workshops. Alongside tastings, major concerts and cultural performances light up the evening hours, creating an immersive festival experience. Each edition strengthens its focus on regional excellence, sustainability, and meaningful connections between producers and trade professionals.
This vibrant wine fair welcomes both the public and industry professionals, creating a mixed-format event full of opportunity. Wine importers and distributors gain direct access to producers in a dynamic setting that encourages tasting and conversation. At the same time, wine lovers enjoy curated experiences, pairing insights, and musical entertainment. With its unique mix of business and celebration, Alma do Vinho stands out as a must-attend event for anyone looking to discover the heart and soul of Lisbon’s wine scene. For four sun-soaked days, visitors can freely taste over 400 regional wines—no tokens, no limits, just pure discovery. Set in a vibrant outdoor setting, the festival also delivers live show cookings, big-name music concerts, and unforgettable moments that celebrate the spirit of Portuguese wine.
