It is a 100 % Merlot. the vineyard grow in a clayey limestone soil very rich in marine fossils at 220 m of altitude. The grapes harvested in small boxes are crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks, for a slow fermentation for 15 days. During maceration, periodic replacement and manual grinding are performed. Aging is in French oak barrels and barrels for 12 months. The bottles rest for at least 6 months before before the sale. Ruby red with an intense and full hue, with purple hues....
Ca’ Duso is an historical family of this area and that product and sell grapes since 1890. In 2005 we decided to produce wine from these grapes. We are a small winery and care of the grape and wine to reach the highest level of quality maintaining the personality of grapes and terroir. We produce wine from international and indigenous grapes.
