Nebbiolo d'Alba doc BIO

The grapes come from the Vineyard located in the area of Fontanaccia named “Conca d’Oro”, in Montelupo Albese of 1,68 hectares, on hilly ground with an altitude of 290 meters above sea level, with a West-South exposure, dry soil marl-calcareous. The vineyard is composed exclusively of Nebbiolo with Italian cloning material. The training system is Guyot with around 5.000 vines per hectare. TECHNOLOGICAL MENTIONS Traditional maceration which lasts 10 days with the caps submersed at a temperature of 30-33°C, with continuous “rimontaggi and follatura” after a time of 60 days in steel vats, the wine is then put into French oak caks of 225 liters for 15 months, and then refined in the bottle at least for 3 months. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINE An intense ruby red with brick red reflexes, a constant vinuous perfume, clean, spacious, with rose and vanilla sensations, a dry taste, full, harmonious, with hints of cinnamon and liquirizia, equilibrated tones, with an optimal persitance
