About Albania

Albania is found on the southwestern coast of the Balkans, along an Adriatic and Ionian coastline that has made it the envy of its neighbours. Those neighbours include Montenegro and Kosovo in the northwest and northeast respectively, Freece to the south, and North Macedonia in the east. Its official language is Albanian, unlike any other language in Europe, and its capital is the beautiful city of Tirana. While tourists might know it best for its sea, more than two thirds of the country is occupied by mountains. With beautiful nature, friendly and sincere people, this is a a country where it is customary to give gifts to new acquaintances and to hold two weddings for the bride.
