We are proud to carry on a traditional form of winemaking used since humanity first discovered how to make wine: late harvest, maceration on the skins and aging in amphora. After the harvest, late and strictly manual, our grapes undergo a long and slow fermentation and maceration on the skins, this gives the wine a greater concentration of aromas, color and tannins.

After fermentation, our wine is left to refine in local clay amphora, handcrafted by ceramic artisans according to the tradition of Castelli (TE), a town not far from Atri, famous all over the world for its exceptional ceramics. From 2021 we offer 5 selections: our Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOCG Maximo and our Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC Aelio, the Nevia produced with Pecorino Abruzzo DOC grapes, Pontius, white wine from Montonico Abruzzo DOC grapes from Bisenti, and the Cerasuolo d ' Abruzzo DOC Publicius, from the Latin name but of Etruscan origin from which the name Montepulciano is said to derive.
